PRECAUTIONS TO TAKE.

  • WASH YOU HANDS OFTEN.

  • WIPE DOWN SURFACES IN YOUR HOME REGULARLY.

  • DO NOT SHAKE HANDS, HUG OR KISS PEOPLE IF YOU HAVE ANY UNDERLYING MEDICAL CONDITIONS.

  • STAY HOME AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE IF YOU HAVE AN UNDERLYING MEDICAL CONDITION.

  • USE CREDIBLE SOURCES TO GET ACCURATE INFORMATION.

  • IF YOU KNOWINGLY COME INTO CONTACT WITH ANYONE WHO HAS TESTED POSITIVE FOR THE COVID19 VIRUS, SELF-QUARANTINE AND CALL YOUR DOCTOR.

COVID 19 symptoms are similar to those of seasonal flu but seem to be more dangerous among people who are over 60 and have underlying medical conditions. Common symptoms are: 

  • COUGH

  • SHORTNESS OF BREATH OR DIFFICULTY BREATHING

  • OR AT LEAST TWO OF THESE SYMPTOMS:

  • FEVER

  • CHILLS

  • REPEATED SHAKING WITH CHILLS

  • MUSCLE PAIN

  • HEADACHE

  • SORE THROAT

  • NEW LOSS OF TASTE OR SMELL

OFFICE POLICY

  • IF YOU EXHIBIT ANY SYMPTOMS OF ASSOCIATED WITH COVID 19, CANCEL YOUR APPOINTMENT AND STAY HOME.

  • IF YOU HAVE TRAVELED TO OUT OF STATE IN THE PAST TWO WEEKS, RESCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT FOR A DATE AFTER YOU HAVE QUARANTINED FOR 2 WEEKS. THIS INCLUDES TRAVEL TO ADJACENT COUNTIES IN CALIFORNIA, (FOR EXAMPLE TRUCKEE AND SOUTH LAKE TAHOE).

  • IF YOU ARE AT ANY RISK OF HAVING BEEN EXPOSED TO COVID 19, PLEASE CANCEL ANY UPCOMING APPOINTMENTS AND RESCHEDULE FOR A DATE AFTER A TWO WEEK QUARANTINE PERIOD.

  • WASH YOUR HANDS THOROUGHLY BEFORE AND AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT.

  • PLEASE WEAR A MASK TO ALL APPOINTMENTS.

  • NO MORE THAT 2 PEOPLE WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE WAITING ROOM AT A TIME, SO PLEASE WAIT IN YOUR VEHICLE UNTIL YOUR APPOINTMENT TIME. (THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO PATIENTS WHO USE A RIDE SERVICE TO ATTEND THEIR APPOINTMENTS.)

  • ANYONE ACCOMPANYING A PATIENT TO THEIR APPOINTMENT WILL BE ASKED TO WAIT IN THEIR VEHICLE. IF YOU NEED ASSISTANCE TO ENTER THE BUILDING, PLEASE CALL AHEAD SO WE CAN A STAFF MEMBER AVAILABLE TO ASSIST YOU.
